Welcome to GrimmRose Cottage

GrimmRose Cottage is a small, independent wall décor studio based in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

I’m Vicky Parsons, the founder, designer, and maker behind GrimmRose Cottage. I create and curate wallpaper and wall décor that leans into anything peculiar or unusual. You probably won’t find regular surface patterns here. 

Originally from Newfoundland, I’ve always been drawn to folklore, storytelling and the slightly unusual. Those influences still find their way into GrimmRose, alongside nature, nostalgia, dark humour and the everyday things that make a space feel personal.

The GrimmRose collection is intentionally varied. Some pieces are moody and botanical, some are strange and playful, and others simply exist because they made me feel something. Rather than designing around a particular trend, I want to create a collection that helps you find something that feels distinctly you.

Every wallpaper order is printed, cut and packaged by me in my Alberta studio, giving me control over the quality of each piece that leaves GrimmRose Cottage.
